A multi-media artist, Goodrich works in photography, sculpture, painting, and poetry. After losing her lower left leg in a motorcycle accident, she gained a heightened awareness of what it means to be both off-balance and physically “grounded.” Goodrich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University and Master of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Her paintings, photographs, sculpture and earthworks are in collections in Haiti, Lithuania, Morocco, Federation of Russia, Romania, Slovenia, and the United States. Her art has deemed her worthy of many grants and fellowships, including a scholarship from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. In addition, Goodrich received the Pennsylvania Fellowships in Poetry/Creative Nonfiction for her written work and has been nominated for Pushcart Prizes in poetry and fiction. To date, she has published eleven works of poetry.
